In reply to your letter No. 27575/20 of the 16th
June, 1920, I have the honour to inform you that Mr. W.R.
Sutton, late of the Hong Kong Police, states that he will
repay the sum of £30 due from him at the end of August, 1920,
or possibly a little earlier. Mr. Sutton states that he is
not prepared to repay by instalments, but will make the
refund in one payment of £30.
2. Mr. Sutton also states that arrears are due to him
under a revised scale of pay granted to members of the Hong
Kong Police Force.
I have the honour to be,
sir,
Your obedient Servant,
Under Secretary of State,
Colonial Office,
Los Paton
for Crown Agents.
